This workshop in Hellingly is suitable for those who are new to mixed media art. It will allow you to become familiar with a range of different techniques and materials to ‘break the white page’ and add textures and layers using a range of materials and tools. You will explore gesso, stencilling, stamping, and mark making on tissue papers. By taking things at a slower pace you will have time to practice, and ask many questions to build your confidence before applying the techniques to your final piece. The session will introduce you to a world of creative possibilities where you can mix different principles for a more textured/layered outcome than you would get using one medium alone.
