The Mothers’ Union Open Meeting on Tuesday 9 April is a talk on Tax, Care and Toy boys or girls.  If you are uncertain about how to protect yourself and your finances or not sure about powers of attorney, want to make sure your family inherit and not someone else, then this is for you. The speaker will be Julie Pullinger from Co-Op Legal Services who will be talking on Estate planning. She will cover protecting the family’s nest egg, inheritance tax, stopping ‘sideways disinheritance’ and lasting powers of attorney. All of these topics are relevant to all and everyone is welcome to attend to have those niggling questions answered. The meeting will begin with a short service at 7pm, followed by Julie’s talk which she says will be informal and humorous yet informative. There will be tea and coffee afterwards.
