Seasonal Celebration by Starlight

Come and join us as we celebrate the joyous festive season with Santa, music with the Eastbourne Silver Band and viewing the stars (weather permitting).

We are very excited to introduce our “Seasonal Celebration by Starlight” event.
Come and join us for a late afternoon/early evening festive treat of music and the stars! Our café will be open, offering a variety of hot drinks, hot food and snacks. Get into the festive spirit and try our delicious mince pies and mulled wine.
SSSSHHH a secret visit from Santa and a chance to have a selfie with him before he ventures back off to the North Pole to prepare for that big day.
To get you really in the mood we are delighted to announce a special guest appearance from the Eastbourne Silver Band playing a compilation of festive music in our Geodesic Dome.
Following Santa and the band you will have the opportunity to visit the domes to meet our astronomers who will guide you on a view of the night sky through our historic telescopes (weather permitting).
Itinerary:
4.30pm Gates open. 5.30pm-6.30pm Selfie with Santa in the Geodesic Dome 6.30pm -7.30pm Eastbourne Silver Band playing festive music in the marquee 7.30pm-9.30pm Domes open for stargazing (weather permitting) or chats with the astronomers in the telescope domes (if the weather isn’t suitable for viewing). You are free to explore the indoor exhibits and shop throughout the evening. The café will be open for drinks, snacks, mulled wine and mince pies. Hot food will be served until 8pm. Café will close at 9pm.
