On May 26 Hellingly Bowls Club will be part of a National initiative by Bowls England to attract new players to the fascinating game of lawn bowls. A sport that can be played by anyone, of any age, which can be pursued to the highest level or enthusiastic club level or simply enjoyed as a casual pastime. It is a very sociable sport and Hellingly Bowls Club give a warm and friendly welcome to anyone wishing to have a go. Their Green (at Lower Horsebridge recreation ground, near Hailsham) will be open from 12pm to 4pm (not 10am – 4pm as in the poster) offering free tuition, refreshments, games, prizes and a raffle.  All the family are welcome.
