Milton Hide
Your regular co-hosts, Milton Hide, joined by one or two familiar faces, provide an unforgettable evening of music in the lovely Bluebell Kitchen. There will be a delicious 2 course meal.
Milton Hide (AKA Jim and Josie Tipler) come from East Sussex and live at the foot of the famous Long Man of Wilmington hill figure. The duo weave eloquent, well-crafted songs and stories – Jim’s guitar and Josie’s pure vocal delivery blending perfectly. Arrangements also include percussion, with the clarinet providing a third voice. Their music has been described as “reminiscent of the Moody Blues” (Living Tradition), “a touch of Fleetwood Mac” and “vintage Steeleye” (Spiral Earth).
Their debut album, ‘Temperature’s Rising’ was recorded during lockdown in 2020 and released in Spring 2021 to great reviews.
A FEW THINGS TO NOTE:
- This is a Pass The hat event. £25 ticket price covers the food . And we ask for a donation towards for the music – suggest £10 per person. Having said that, to avoid our events becoming elitist, our ethos has always been ‘pay what you can afford’.
- Space is limited and when seats are booked, sadly we simply cannot squeeze more people in. Limited to 4 seats per order.
- BRING YOUR OWN DRINK – THERE IS NO BAR!
