Having the full day in the workshop will allow you to work more details/layers into your piece or work slightly larger. Please come with an idea in mind of what you would like to add as your theme/focal point… animal/botanical/heart/words/abstract etc.

You will build layers to create your own bespoke art piece that can be done in your journal (not supplied) or on 250/300gsm mixed media paper. You will be using a range of mediums, starting with collage and texturizing and muting backgrounds with gesso before adding your colour using acrylics and spray inks with stencils and sponges. Details will be added using rubber stamps and embossing once your focal image is complete..

All materials are included and techniques are fully demonstrated. All abilities are very welcome including absolute beginners as no experience is necessary… I do offer a beginners mixed media workshop if you’d like to take things at a slower pace. Please wear old clothes as printing, painting and gluing can be messy. Aprons are provided; or you can bring your own if you’d prefer.

This is a full day workshop from 10.30am – 4pm
Hot and cold drinks are included but you will need to bring a packed lunch with you.

This workshop is an adults session for ages from 17 years up…if the workshop does not fall on a day that is convenient to you, please do get in touch and I will try to schedule a different day for a following month. I work 6-8 weeks in advance with setting bookings.

This Mixed Media Full Day “Workshop” session is my ‘original’ full day that I offered and it differs slightly to the Mixed Media full day “class” in that we use the techniques in a slightly different way… so call this one part one if you wish, although each workshop/class can be regularly repeated with completely different art results being made each time.
