Royal Air Force Air Cadets 249 (Hailsham) Squadron is holding a recruitment evening for new and potential air cadets to join the Squadron. The evening will give you an insight into what they do, a tour and all relevant information for joining. The organisation aims to give young people opportunities to develop life skills, confidence, a positive attitude, new friends and experiences they will remember forever. They may learn about its history, first aid, leadership, radio, flying or gliding, team building, the DofE, music, sport and lots more. To join you need to be a minimum of 12 years old and in school year 8 or be no older than 17 years, although you can join at this age routine cadet service ends at age 18.
