There is a fantastic Stargazing Evening at the Observatory Science Centre, Wartling Road, Herstmonceux (don’t follow your SatNav – it will take you to the back entrance which is not open to the public). Enjoy the fabulous atmosphere that surrounds the Observatory at night and weather permitting, look through some of the largest telescopes in the country at some extraordinary night sky objects. If it is cloudy there is a cloudy night contingency plan.
