Dan Raza
Starting out as a teenager in London in the early 2000s, Dan quickly became a key member of the capital’s folk-roots music scene and opened for artists as diverse as Joan Armatrading, Mary Gauthier and Badly Drawn Boy on tour.
During this time, Dan’s song, “Every Little Dog”, written in the wake of the London terror attacks of 2005, gained the attention of Neil Young’s management and was promoted on Neil’s Living With War website.
Since then, Dan has gone on to perform at prestigious venues in the UK such as The Union Chapel in London and won a loyal following across Europe for his emotional songs and humorous live show repartee.
Currently putting the finishing touches to his third record, Dan has once again teamed up with members of Van Morrison and Paul McCartney’s touring bands to recreate his own special, heart-warming brand of folk roots music.
Your regular co-hosts, Milton Hide will join Neil, kick the evening off and send you home with a song. There will also be wonderful floor performers. (Please email info@bluebellroots.co.uk if you would like to play)
