Black Cat Day at the Friends of Eastbourne Adoption Centre is on Sunday 30 October from 12 noon to 3pm. Special Guest, Martin D Hill, author of Indy the Tiger, will be selling and signing his fantastic children’s books. Go along and enjoy the Halloween fun in the garden. All children in fancy dress win a prize. There will be crafts and merchandise stalls including Christmas cards and calendars and you will also be able to pre-order your Christmas wreaths. There will be a tombola and the raffle will be called at 2.45pm. Goulash and cream teas and other refreshments will be available. Meet the many lovely cats at the centre. Admission is 50p or free with a donation of cat food. No dogs allowed. The event and the Cats Protection Centre is at 63 Marshfoot Lane, Hailsham BN27 2RB – opposite Phoenix Academy.
